The "Nuui Cunni" Native American Inter-Tribal Cultural Center was established to bring attention to all, the existance, (past and present) of the Native people who inhabited this valley and surrounding areas through many generations.
The Center strives to promote, preserve, and teach the history, culture, and ways of life of our sometimes forgotten people.
The Center houses many Native American artifacts from local tribes such as: Paiute-Shoshone, Tubatulabal, & Kawaiisu, as well as other tribes in America. Artifacts include: grinding stones, arrowheads, baskets (wonderful collections made locally), tools, etc.
Being Inter-tribal we also have items from many Southwest tribes, Anasazi, Navajo, Apache, and others.
Our Library is filled with educational books on Native American history, culture, and crafts.
The area is inviting and welcomes all who wish to use what is available.
